At the beginning of the month, Women in Wireless joined 13,000 mobile professionals at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas for the Mobile Apps Unlocked conference. Organized by growth marketing community, MAU Vegas was two incredible days of talks, panels and networking with executives from some of the most innovative and disruptive brands in the industry.

We were honored to be MAU’s Special Participating Partner this year. At the conference closing party, we handed out flyers and talked to other attendees about Women in Wireless’ mission to connect, inspire and empower women in mobile and digital. We also collected donations, raising $500 over the course of the evening—a figure that has generously pledged to match!

In addition to our partnership with MAU, Women in Wireless were also represented in the events on offer at the conference. Our own Kara Dake (Global Partnerships Associate at Women in Wireless and VP Growth & Partnerships at CleverTap) moderated a well-attended panel on Driving Retention In A Discovery Context. Panelists included Aurelie Genet, Mobile Marketing Manager at Trainline, and Gwen Murray, Head of Mobile Marketing at Staples.

We’d like to thank the Women in Wireless volunteers who worked so hard to make our presence at MAU a success, and for organizing a truly inspiring conference!
